My name is Jonah Fialkoff; you may have heard of my history in the music business. I started a small independent record label in 2002 and released one of the largest hip-hop albums of that year: Kool G Rap's Click of Respect. With chart topping artists at college radio and Top 10 Billboard charting songs, I had it all back then.

But soon everything changed for the worse. Piracy was destroying the record industry and my own distributor was loosing its footing. Our albums were being sold on Ebay for pennies--there was no way to compete with that. Faced with the closing of my label, I had to search for a new model for success.
